Hi, I’m Peter Aleksander Bizjak. I design and help build systems that work as intended, are secure from the start, and can be understood by anyone.

I started my career at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, as a student researcher and an instructor. I taught CCNA and Linux classes as part of the ICT Academy, and worked as a youth mentor in OpenLab, where I taught classes on IoT. Later, I found a job as a software engineer at a Slovenian company, IPM, where I also obtained my ethical hacker license for the first time. I have experience in various areas, including engineering, DevOps, project management, and penetration testing. I owe a lot of my future success to them, as they represent a pivotal point in my career. I'll never be able to say "thank you" loud enough. Fantastic people.

I went independent and started collaborating with European SMEs. Over the years, I have accumulated an immense amount of knowledge, skills, and experience, all due to the fact that my clients and projects have been incredibly diverse. To each one of them, thank you. I am honored to be a part of your team either in the past or the present.

I'm not going to sit here and talk about how "work brings meaning in my life", but it definitely helps to know what I do is also my passion. If I hit a jackpot of 10 million, and after crying for a few months from having to give almost all of it away in taxes, I would've probably retired. Let's be honest here. But I would retire with Starlink and MacBook, and never stop exploring technology and building products.

The blog is a passion project. Sharing my thoughts, opinions, and lessons learned, with a healthy dose of snarky comments and banter. Hope you'll enjoy.
